This article describes a method of designing and calculating of double-flow hydromechanical transmissions, widely used in modern transmissions of wheeled and tracked vehicles. The authors considered harmonization of the load characteristic of the double-flow hydromechanical transmis- sion with an external high-speed characteristics of the engine. The advantages of double-flow hy-dromechanical transmission compared to single-flow one.
