As a prominent test in China, TEM8 has already been paid much attention to. There are many researches about the qualities of TEM8 at home and abroad. However, few of them have a comprehensive evaluation of TEM8. Therefore, this article attempts to analyze TEM8 in a more comprehensive perspective and provide more information about the qualities of TEM8. Based on Bachman & Palmer’s mode of test usefulness, this article reviews TEM8 in terms of its reliability, construct validity, authenticity, interactiveness, impact and practicality, giving implication to test developers.
