Increased inflammation is known to cause higher mortality and morbidity in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). At the same time, inflammation has been shown to contribute in chronic kidney disease (CKD) progression pathogenesis. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and mean platelet volume (MPV) have been lately found to be related with systemic inflammation. Therefore, in this study, it was intended to evaluate any correlation between the NLR and MPV degree and poor prognosis in ADPKD patients.
