Over 95% of cases of typhoidal and non-typhoidal Salmonella infection are foodborne. Focal Salmonellosis without bacteremia is rarely reported, especially the setting of non-enteric lymphadenitis. We present a rare case of Salmonella typhimurium inguinal lymphadenitis. We also reviewed major risk factors for focal Salmonellosis and appropriate treatments.
