RBFin is the main publication outlet for academic papers on finance inBrazil. The contents of the Review are open and online; a printed version ismaintained, in part, thanks to a grant from CNPq/CAPES. Using the OpenJournals System to manage the editorial process, publication of RBFinadheres to a strict publication schedule. The journal is indexed by EconLit,Google Scholar, DOJA, Gale and Ebsco and is listed in the JEL, Latindex, andCabell's directories. RBFin is rated B1 in the business area of theBrazilian classification system. The editorial board undergoes partialturnover every year and comprises 18 individuals from five countries, theBrazilian members being affiliated with universities in five differentBrazilian states. The acceptance rate was 22.9% for papers submitted in 2009and 19.7% for 2010. The average number of days between receipt andacceptance for all articles published in 2010 was 215. The worst case was525 days. The average number of days between receipt and publication was367. The worst case was 649 days. The average number of hits per article asof January 2011 was 1027. In 2010, 117 individuals served asreviewers.
