It is shown that MA ℵ 1 for σ‐centred partial orders implies for any compact n ‐manifold M ( n > 1) and any two ℵ 1 ‐dense subsets of M there is an autohomeomorphism of M which is a bijection between the two ℵ 1 ‐dense sets.
