Ilex jingxiensis Y. F. Huang & M. X. Lai, a new species from southwestern Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated. It is similar to I. kaushue S. Y. Hu and I. latifolia Thunb., but can be distinguished by the indumentum of current year's branchlets, fruits and terminal buds, as well as by fruit‐ and pyrene size, and the color of ripe fruits.
