Taxonomic review of the genus Asthena Hübner (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) in Korea

The larentiine genus, Asthena Hübner of Korea, is reviewed. Six species of Asthena are recognized from Korea: Asthena amurensis (Staudinger), Asthena nymphaeata (Staudinger), Asthena anseraria corculina Butler, Asthena ochrifasciaria Leech, Asthena octomacularia Leech and Asthena undulata (Wileman). Among them, Asthena octomacularia Leech is reported for the first time in Korea. A key for the genus is provided with descriptions of adults, male and female genitalia.
