A 70‐year‐old woman with bilateral facial palsy and vestibular loss caused by histologically proven sarcoidosis showed decreasing amounts of M. tuberculosis DNA in CSF under antituberculous treatment accompanied by clinical improvement, suggesting a role of mycobacteria in the pathogenesis of sarcoidosis.
