A bstract Herein, a case of a 66‐year‐old man who developed corneal blood staining secondary to hyphaema after trabeculectomy is reported. No significant increase in intraocular pressure was recorded. The corneal staining spontaneously cleared from the periphery and resolved fully over the following 2 years.
