The influence on the diffraction pattern of the angle α between the crystal surface and the major set of planes used in the diffraction has been studied. A triple‐crystal diffractometer in the (+ 1, − 1, + 1) nondispersive mode has been used to measure the diffraction for several values of α. The experimental results are in agreement with dynamical theory.
