Through analysing the characteristics of the corrosion environment where Qiongle concrete expressway bridges work, and its influence on the durability of the concrete structure, this paper made a comparison among common coating systems, and put forward a reasonable coating design scheme as well as the corresponding technical requirements. Focused on the problems encountered in the trial tests, solutions were proposed to ensure the coating quality, which enabled it to play a long-term and effective role in protecting the concrete structure under corrosive environment, avoiding or procrastinating the occurrence of durability disease, and ultimately improving the safety and durability of the concrete structure.
