All papers published in this volume of  IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering  have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. Type of peer review : Double-blind, that is author and reviewer identities are hidden to each other. Criteria used by Reviewers when accepting/declining papers : technical, quality and presentation criteria according to IOP Conference Series peer review policy. The most part ( 75%) of the accepted papers were resubmitted after two or three revisions. Conference submission management system : through editors and reviewers personal e-mail, the special submission management systems were not employed because the total number of Workshop papers is not great. Number of submissions received : 51. Number of submissions sent for review : 44. Number of submissions accepted : 33. Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100) : 65%. Average number of reviews per paper : 2. Total number of reviewers involved : 21. Any additional info on review process  : the editors paid the especial attention on the stylistics of the papers because for all the authors English is a foreign language.
