The harmfulness of the weed plant Cirsium arvense to reduce the spring wheat yield and its quality and the effect of the herbicides Zinger, wetting powder and Magnum, wetting powder at a dose of 10 g/ha on the crop productivity was studied. On average for three years it was found that the yield of spring wheat depending on the Cirsium arvense harmfulness began to decline in the presence of one weed per 1 m 2 . The greatest harmfulness of Cirsium arvense in spring wheat crops was noted in the presence of 3 or more weeds per 1 m 2 . The protection effectiveness during the herbicides test against Cirsium arvense is 100%. Increase in the spring wheat yield from the herbicides action is by 9.7-10.3 c/ha.
