The aim of this paper was to describe an innovative network that supports people with intellectual disability in relation to health and well‐being issues. The communication strategies and resources developed by the members of this network are outlined. Occupational therapists have been involved in this network since its inception and some implications for occupational therapists working with people with intellectual disability are identified.
