memory performance in NC, while the SN group maintained highlevel memory performance regardless of the level of glucose metabolism. Conclusions: Preserved whole cortex glucose metabolism, as well as resistance to amyloidosis and glucose hypometabolism in the right isthmus cingulate cortex, contributes to the Supernormal phenomenon. These findings may be informative for the development of early screening biomarkers and therapeutic targets for modification of cognitive trajectories in the face of cognitive aging-associated pathophysiology.
