(control group). All the patients underwent CT or MRI with an interval of 1 year, REG every 6 months, SG every 2 years. 4 patients from the study group underwent repeated cerebral MUGA at intervals of 2 and 6 years. Group (CDR-0) patients with an increased risk of AD: study group 4 (8.7%) patients, control group 5 (14.3%). Group (CDR-1) mild dementia, mild cognitive disorder, moderate manifestations of AD (history of up to 2 years): study group 15 (32.6%) patients, control group 9 (25.7%);Group (CDR-2) moderate dementia, persistent cognitive disorder, more severe manifestations of AD (history of up to 6 years): study group 20 (43.5%) patients, control group 11 (31.4%); Group (CDR-3) severe dementia, gross cognitive disorder, late-stage AD (history 7-12 years): study group 7 (15.2%) patients, control group 10 (28.6%). Results: The results depended on AD initial severity and on CDR groups. According to CT and MRI, 4-15% increase in pulp tissue of cerebral temporal lobes was observed among 40 (87.0%) of study groups patients in 2-3 years period; 32 (91.4%) of control groups patients showed progress of atrophic effects with 5-18% reduction in tissue weight. According to SG and REG, 38 (82.6%) of study groups patients showed persistent positive dynamics of cerebral blood flow velocity and pulse volume, 31 (88.6%) of control groups patients showed worsened data. According to cerebral MUGA, all re-examined patients maintained reduced collateral and capillary bed with reduction of arteriovenous shunts in 2-6 years period after the endovascular treatment.39 (84.8%) of study groups patients maintained the positive clinical dynamics. 28 (80.0%) of control groups patients had growing dementia and cognitive disorder. Conclusions: These data show the effectiveness of the proposed method of endovascular treatment of dyscirculatory angiopathy of Alzheimer’s type and Alzheimer’s disease in comparison with traditional therapeutic methods.
