Abstract The procedure for applying the coordinate rotation device to the coupled‐channel scattering equations is presented. Results of applications of the method to resonances occurring in low‐energy atom‐diatom collision processes are presented. In particular, rotational Feshbach resonances in model (homogeneous) potentials which have also been studied by Grabenstetter and Le Roy are examined within this novel approach.
