Abstract An exactly soluble stochastic model of the clusterization process is developed and the time dependence of the probability of the cluster size is calculated. The condition of stationarity is derived and the correlation function of the stationary cluster size fluctuations is determined. The properties of the spectral density function and that of the distribution function of the cluster lifetime are analysed.
