The spectral behaviour is investigated of the radiation emitted by a charged particle executing the motion of a general anharmonic oscillator under the influence of damping forces. The presence of many maxima is noticed which are in general not symmetric, in the intensity distribution as a function of frequency due to the presence of anharmonic terms.
