Abstract In the first part of the paper the general matrices were derived for taking into account covalency effects. However, the solution of these matrices in an analytical form is difficult even for cluster with two electrons (holes). In this paper the covalency effects are taken into account and the parameters σ, D q , E 0 , λ e , λ t , for some compounds with ions Ni 2+ , Cr 2+ , and Co 2+ are calculated, using the restandardization of state functions of the central ion.
