The possibility of defining a relaxation time for piezoelectric scattering in the presence of a longitudinal quantizing magnetic field is examined. The mobility calculated from the relaxation time, existing only at the extreme quantum limit, is compared with the acoustic scattering mobility and also with the piezoelectric mobility calculated with the displaced Maxwellian distribution.
