The tensor of the Debye frequencies of single crystals of all the systems is obtained in terms of their elastic stiffness constants c pq and the density ϱ. The eigenvalues of this tensor are found numerically for materials with c pq and ϱ known at T = 4.2 °K. A large anisotropy of the Mössbauer effect for zinc is predicted.
