Cellular rubber: Theoretical investigation on the basis of the mixture of theory and experiments

In this contribution we investigate a compressible cellular rubber experimentally and theoretically. In an appropriate model we apply the theory of porous media to describe the viscoelastic properties. The model parameters are identified by an algorithm based on evolution strategies.
