Abstract The finite element‐boundary integral (FE‐BI) method was used to calculate the radar cross section (RCS) of jet engine inlet geometries. Comparisons of numerical results with measurements are shown to demonstrate the capability of the method. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
