We generalize a result concerning unique continuation for the system of linearized isotropic elasticity by admitting first‐order perturbations. The proof is based on elementary weighted L 2 ‐inequalities. Furthermore, we extend our result to a generalization of the Lamé system in the context of alternating differential forms.
