Einige singuläre Integralgleichungen in der Relaxationsgasdynamik

The relaxation drag of a slender profile or profile arrangement in plane, steady, relaxing subsonic gas flow is studied. Especially, the question is discussed which shapes the profiles must have in order to minimize the relaxation drag. These optimization problems lead to a number of singular integral equations of first kind, one of which is solved as an example with the help of a suitable chosen ansatz.
