The structure elements in the main fractions of oligosaccharides obtained after the acetic acid linked D‐glycero‐D‐mannoheptose, 1,3‐linked galactose were found as new constituents in LPS. The results are discussed for their genetic and serologic importance and the relationship to Yersinia .
