The first synthesis of (+)‐pisatin [(+)‐ 11 ] was achieved by resolving (±)‐ 6 , which in turn was prepared from the isoflavone derivative 1 . The unnatural (‐)‐pisatin [(‐)‐ 11 ] was also synthesized.
