The design of highly efficient top‐emitting OLEDs by optical modeling is described. The main loss channels of top‐emitting OLEDs are quantified and red top‐emitting OLEDs reaching 29% EQE are realized. White top‐emitting OLEDs exhibiting a broad spectrum, high CRI and a luminous efficacy of up to 30 lm/W are presented.
