The Oklahoma City, Okla., wastewater management program, administered by US Filter Operating Services, was singled out by the National Council for Public–Private Partnerships with the 2001 partnership award for the program's innovation and efficiency. Over the 17‐year partnership, Oklahoma City and US Filter have provided substantial cost savings and quality service for 1 million citizens in the metropolitan area.
