To help managers evaluate and provide for the security of their water systems, the American Water Works Association developed a seminar to give utility managers the information they need. Titled “Counter Terrorism and Security in the Water Industry: A Manager's Guide to Keeping Your Utility Safe,” this program tells how to assess the safety of a utility's water supply and how to begin developing a plan to ensure the safety of facilities, employees, and the water delivered to customers.
