Abstract Capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) in the presence of ethanolamine was used in a micropreparative mode. Sample volumes up to 1 μL could be loaded onto a 100 μm diameter capillary without loss in resolution. Coupled to narrow‐bore reversed‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatography, ethanolamine‐CZE allowed the collection of sufficient amounts of pure peptidic material to perform amino acid sequence analysis.
