The effect of renal failure on the excretion and metabolism of 3 H‐reserpine was studied in 15 patients. The plasma level and urinary and fecal exeretion of the drug were followed for 7 days. There was a correlation between the urinary excretion of total radioactivity, plasma half‐life, and creatinine clearance, but no correlation between fecal excretion and degree of renal impairment.
