Key Clinical Message Myelolipoma is one of the rare causes of posterior mediastinal tumor. Surgical excision is effective, which differs from the treatment of extramedullary disease usually concomitant with myelodysplastic syndrome. Cytogenetic analysis suggests the bone marrow cell originating myelolipoma.
