Key Clinical Message The link between Myobacterium avium‐intracellulare and lung cancer remains underemphasized in literature. Our objective is to increase awareness of Myobacterium avium‐intracellulare and coexisting lung cancer and to emphasize the need in establishing prevalence and specific testing guidelines in this patient population.
