Key Clinical Message A maxillary edentulous arch with severe bone resorption was treated by locator abutment retained overdenture. Under the criterion of balanced occlusion, implants located solely in the posterior area is a good selection which could efficiently guarantee the stability and perdurability of the overdenture in 2‐year follow‐up.
