Dimroth Rearrangement of Imines Derived from 1,5‐Diaminotetrazole Heating the imines 1 in dimethyl sulfoxide (or partly in xylene) provides hydrazones such as 2 . The reaction is greatly favoured by electron‐withdrawing groups attached to the imine carbon atom.
