This talk discusses the achievements of the {\it spin-charge-family} theory.The project started in the year 1993 when trying to understand the internalspaces of fermions and bosons with the Grassmann algebra. Recognizing that theGrassmann algebra suggests the existence of the anticommuting fermion stateswith the integer spin (and commuting boson states with integer spin) and thatGrassmann algebra is expressible with two kinds of the Clifford algebras, bothoffering a description of the anticommuting half spin fermion states, it becameobvious that the Clifford odd algebra (the superposition of odd products of$\gamma^a$) offers a way for describing the internal spaces for fermions, while$\tilde{\gamma}^a$ can be chosen to determine quantum numbers of families offermions. Three years ago, it become evident that the Clifford even algebra(the superposition of even products of $\gamma^a$) offers a way to describe theinternal spaces of the corresponding boson gauge fields. In odd dimensionalspaces the properties of the internal space of fermions and bosons differessentially from those in even dimensional spaces, manifesting as theFadeev-Popov ``ghosts''. Can the {\it spin-charge-family} theory, extending thepoint fields to strings, be related to {\it string theories}?

How far has so far the Spin-Charge-Family theory succeeded to offer the  explanation for the observed phenomena in elementary particle physics and  cosmology
