Generative systems are becoming a crucial part of current design practice.There exist gaps however, between the digital processes, field data anddesigner's input. To solve this problem, multiple processes were developed inorder to generate emergent and self-organizing design solutions that combinethe designer's input with surface models acquired via photogrammetry andgenerative design tools. Different generative design methods were utilized fortrials, including surface scattering based on UV coordinates, animationsnapshots (similar to long exposure photography) and a particle swarm algorithmon arbitrary data, interpolated within GIS software. A large volume of adaptiveforms that are complex, yet responsive to changes in parameters, user input,topography and/or various spatial data were acquired. Resulting outputs wererendered and projection mapped onto the original physical model and evaluatedfor further iterations.
