This work presents the status and plans of the International Large Detector(ILD) concept, one of the most detailed and comprehensive detector concepts fora future Higgs factory. Most hardware groups have demonstrated ILD'sperformance targets and continue development with focus on improving furtherand making ILD fit for a circular collider. Their status, new developments andplans are elaborated. Two examples are given of new reconstruction methods thatutilise hardware developments and contribute to advanced physics analysesprospects.
