In this paper, we show that the common hard kernel of double-log-typefactorization for certain space-like parton correlators in the context oflattice parton distributions, the heavy-light Sudakov hard kernel orequivalently, the axial gauge quark field renormalization factor, has linearinfrared (IR) renormalon in its phase angle. We explicitly demonstrate how thisIR renormalon correlates with ultraviolet (UV) renormalons of next-to-leadingpower soft contributions in two explicit examples: transverse momentumdependent (TMD) factorization of quasi wave function amplitude and thresholdfactorization of quark quasi-PDF. Theoretically, the pattern of renormaloncancellation complies with general expectations of perturbative series inducedby marginal perturbation to UV fixed point. Practically, this linear renormalonexplains the slow convergence of imaginary parts observed in lattice extractionof the Collins-Soper kernel and has the potential to reduce numericaluncertainty.
