We use a classifying space construction by Sz\H{u}cs and Terpai to extendSalomonsen's exact sequence from cobordism groups of immersions to cobordismgroups of hyperplane projections of immersions with prescribed singularities.We apply this to obtain results on these cobordism groups in small and largecodimensional cases.
