We showed in a recent article [arXiv:2208.11793], that relative facts(outcomes), a central concept in Relational Quantum Mechanics, are inconsistentwith Quantum Mechanics. We proved this by constructing a Wigner-Friend typesequential measurement scenario on a Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state ofthree qubits, and making the following assumption: ``if an interpretation ofquantum theory introduces some conceptualization of outcomes of a measurement,then probabilities of these outcomes must follow the quantum predictions asgiven by the Born rule.'' Our work has been criticized by Cavalcanti, DiBiagio, and Rovelli [arXiv:2305.07343]. In this note we show that theircritique is invalid, and that their specific arguments raise questions ofprinciple.
