The presence of gaps or regions of small numbers of stars in the mainsequence of the Hertzsprung Russell Diagram (HRD) of star clusters has beenreported in literature. This is interesting and significant as it could berelated to star formation and/or rapid evolution or instabilities. In thispaper, using Gaia DR3 photometry and confirmed membership data, we explore theHRD of nine open clusters with reported gaps, identify them and assess theirimportance and spectral types.
