We expand the theoretical toolbox for controllable quantum reflection bydeparting from a simple planar reflector. We introduce a circular hole (amicropore) of variable size, for which the electrostatic image potential can beexactly calculated. We combine this with two-dimensional simulations ofwavepacket propagation at arbitrary angle of incidence to show that the quantumreflection probability can be tuned over a wide range of values.
