In this paper we show that with a proper choice of tuning parameters($\lambda_1$, $\lambda_2$), the generalized outcome adaptive lasso (GOAL)proposed by Bald\'e, Yang and Lefebvre [2023, {\em Biometrics} {\bfseries79(1)}, 514--520] enjoys the oracle property.
