We consider a lattice polytope in the $xy$-plane such that each edge isparallel to the $x$-axis or the $y$-axis. In [4], we investigatedtransformations of certain lattice polytopes, and we considered the reducedgraph that is obtained from deformations of a graph associated with a latticepolytope. In this paper, we refine the notion of the reduced graph byintroducing the notion of a dotted graph. A lattice polytope is presented by anadmissible dotted graph. We investigate deformations of dotted graphs, and weinvestigate relation between deformations of admissible dotted graphs andtransformations of lattice polytopes, giving results that are refined andcorrected versions of [4, Lemma 6.2, Theorem 6.3].
