The development of autonomous vehicles has brought a great impact and changesto the transportation industry, offering numerous benefits in terms of safetyand efficiency. However, one of the key challenges that autonomous drivingfaces is how to make ethical decisions in complex situations. To address thisissue, in this article, a novel trajectory prediction method is proposed toachieve ethical decision-making for autonomous driving. Ethical considerationsare integrated into the decision-making process of autonomous vehicles byquantifying the utility principle and incorporating them into mathematicalformulas. Furthermore, trajectory prediction is optimized using LSTM networkwith an attention module, resulting in improved accuracy and reliability intrajectory planning and selection. Through extensive simulation experiments, wedemonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in making ethicaldecisions and selecting optimal trajectories.
