A growing number of Milky Way globular clusters have been identified topossess a noticeable degree of solid-body rotation. For several clusters, thecombination of stellar proper motions and radial velocities allows for3-dimensional spin axes to be extracted. In this paper we consider theorientations of these spin axes, and ask whether they are correlated with anyother properties of the clusters -- either global properties to do with theirorbits and origin, or internal properties related to the cluster composition.We discuss the possibility of alignments between the spin axes of globularclusters, chemodynamical groupings, and their orbital poles. We also point outa previously unidentified negative correlation between the measured gamma-rayemissivities and the inclination of the globular cluster spins with respect tothe line of sight. Given that this correlation is not present in otherwavelengths, we cannot conclusively attribute it solely to sampling bias. Ifthe correlation holds up to scrutiny with more data, it may be indicative ofsources of anisotropic gamma-ray emission in globular clusters. We discuss theplausibility of such an anisotropy arising from a population of dynamicallyformed millisecond pulsars with some degree of spin-orbit alignment.
